Nice to see Direcing Hand (RIP?) and Burning Star Core in there ladies - tasty.

Still reckon Operator Dead...Post Abandoned (great name) is the ultimate BXC album though, Challenger's still taking a while to grow on me. Some great moments (room full of mousetraps etc), but something's definately missing.

How cool is I Wanna Make A Supersonic Woman Out Of You though? Opening track from Mes Soldates Stupides - floors me every time. Yum!

Totally agree re Challenger vs Operator Dead. Gnarly psychedelic noise at its best. Maybe I'll play an excerpt from it sometime. That William Parker track is stunning - pan-global cosmic jazz, sounding like some lost Pharoah Sanders gem from the early 70s, and given a contemporary twist.
