It was a sad episode today. Although any show that features a song with the lyrics "I Say Marvin, you say Gaye in it, as well as featuring a rip of a W H Auden poem and a song about the Thames Whale has to be pretty good.

On the downside, it was very sad, too many bands have been lost.

RIP to the following:

2*Sweet
5o4 Plan
Blink 182
Dity Pretty Things
Grim Northern Social
Midtown
Pull Tiger Tail (effectively)
The Sycamores
Vincent Vincent & The Villains

and of course the almighty I Say Marvin.

We will miss them all.

What a sad loss to music that is.
I hope to attend Carl Barrat's funeral.
Didn't know Stink 182 had called it a day though.
Is that cos the guy is still a bit crispy after the plane crash or what?
Must..... hold ....... back......... tears.......

Albeit those two were a lot lower on the list of upsets than the others. The otehr bands are SUPERB, they were just good.

The blink 182 guy had left teh band years before the plane crash, just no one knows the name of his new band so we have to remember him by his previous works that are actually worth note. Hence he was still known as the 182 guy.

Also I forgot to ass The Reels to list of bands I will really miss.
