NEW TIME !! 9pm - 11pm
guest mix - nx1
An extra special guest mix this week as we showcase Spanish outfit NX1 .
NX1 is Surit and Samot´s project, as artist and a sub-label of the upcoming Nexe Records:
Nexe means “nexus” in our language. Nexe is our link with the music and the scene. Nexe gets involved with the techno and its origins, adding our experiences, our vision and evolution. Nexe defends the vinyl as a format par excellence, living with digital format and futures that may come. Nexe is a union between music, visual and graphic arts. Nexe Records have two sub-labels: “NX1”, with which we star the project, and “A-Nexe” yet to come. Nexe is the junction between those who sympathise our doctrine and help to expand it. Nexe is above all, an independent electronic music label.

guest - gareth wild (ear to ground)
The first show in a while is a real belter as we welcome London's GARETH WILD!
Gareth has been causing a bit of a stir on the Techno scene with his party and now label 'EarToGround'. 2011 saw him host for the first time in the UK two Stroboscopic Artefacts Showcases. Since 2011 he's also appeared twice at fabric and has warmed up for the likes of Chris Liebing and at the massive 15 years of Drumcode party.
EarToGround records sold out their first two releases on pre sales alone. The mix includes his first production 'Get Raw' which feature on ETG003 and is set to hit the shops soon!
Animal Farm warming things up as always :)

meszian + dave miller (abstract division)
After a small 2 week hiatus while I 1. Studied & 2. Enjoyed the sun...Animal Farm is back on Subcity radio with two exclusive mixes!
First up we have Michael 'Meszian' Peacock who will be live in the studio. A relative newcomer on the scene, Michael is working his way up the ranks with various dj slots at after hours club The Unit and also Flat 0/1.
For the second hour we have an exclusive guest mix from one half of Abstract Division, DAVE MILLER.
Abstract Division is a collaboration between Paul Boex and Dave Miller. This challenging project sees them focus on the darker side of no-nonsense techno. Influenced by an exquisite collection of their own favorite sounds from Detroit, Berlin and Birmingham their aim is to educate you using intelligent and abstract tunes designed for the floor. Alongside straightforward uplifters, Abstract Division also reveals a more emotional side in this project by showcasing a love for ambient drones and a fondness of industrial soundscapes. That there is much truth to this claim is likely to prove an understatement once you get acquainted with their sound. No boundaries, just honest creations filled with those different kind of elements that make for great techno.
Their already impressive releases feature tracks, not only from themselves but amazing remixes from the likes of Milton Bradley, Delta Funktionen, Dasha Rush, Ben Sims, Norman Nodge & Mike Parker. Plus upcoming projects feature man of the moment Shifted & Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann...the future is definitely VERY bright for this Dutch duo!

sandwell district live @ animal farm 06.01.12
Extra special show this week as we play an hour of Sandwell District's amazing live set from Animal Farm back in January. Regis & Function (plus a 909) absolutely tore the roof of the Sub and this set highlights why these two really are top tier performers.
