As the lines blur between Electronica and Noise, Belgium based netlabel ENTITY takes an exploratory approach to electronic media. Ran by Jan Robbe, the label has released artists such as Beatwife, RachMiel, and Binray, collaborative groups Idle Sunder and xE Phalanx, as well as Jan's own monikers Atomhead and Erratic.
Dark and twisted antibeats, industrial hyper rhythmic soundscapes, relentless flashcore and streams of glitch are preferred. Approached with a dark and experimental aesthetic, investigations in sound, noise and drone collide with electronica and form Entity.
‘Unidentified Flying Entity’ is more of an industrial sound collage than a mix – a ‘granulated/noised Entity soup,’ and its nasty!
