After a few technical hitches, Bangers & Mashup returned to the airwaves on Subcity radio to dish up some random banter, a random assortment of bass riddled dance floor music and a 20 minute mix from Barrientos, featuring an exclusive remix of Megamegaman!

Also our new weekly feature, "Year of the Week" went off to a flying start with the year 1990, which saw our presenters battling it out over Deee-Lite's 'Groove is in the heart' & Snap's "The Power!" Give it the listen back and let us know on facebook who you thought represented!

It's only a day to go until the launch of Bangers & Mashup on Subcity Radio, so keep some room in yer belly for a feast of banging beats and mashup of dance floor sounds.

So what have we got to get your mouth watering? Well, we start our 'Year of The Week' with 1990, the turn of a decade known for Rave Culture hand in hand with the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act, along with the release of Nelson Mandela, the reunion of East & West Germany plus the birth of our very own Amanda Mitchell. So who will do the year justice with their track choice this week? What crazy sounds will our presenters choose to represent?! Tune in to find out!

Also, keeping you on your toes, we'll be bringing you 'Introducing...", where we invite underground and upcoming dj's to tell us whats their flavour by spinning out a 20 minute mix. This week, we have That dirty Latino, Barrientos, keeping you on your toes!
