Bigfoot’s Tea Party is delighted to welcome MARK BROOM to play on our jacked-up sound system in Maggie May’s on the 15th May. With releases on world famous labels SOMA, EDIT-SELECT and Ellen Allien’s Berlin based BPITCH CONTROL Mark is one of Britain’s finest techno exports. Recently having completed a three EP contract on 20/20 VISION and remixing Dubfire’s outstanding ‘Roadkill’, times have been good on the man from East London. From Fabric to Fuse to Pressure, Mark has enthralled the worlds top clubs since his early days with Black Dog Productions, we are certain he’ll do just the same in our souped-up Maggie! Bigfoot is excited!

Not only do we have Mr. Broom for your audio-pleasure but in addition SLEAZE’s main man HANS BOUFFMHYRE will be turning up the bass to get everyone in the mood! Hype surrounding the pseudo-German is reaching scorching levels since the MINUS crew began spinning his tracks, yet he has created a space in that busy production diary to come down to the basement on the 15th May.

At a fuck the banks £6 door tax, this one really cannot be missed!!!!

Get down early to catch Marmalade Man and Faux Pas (Click, Snafu) set the ball on fire before Broom kicks it out the building. As usual Reduxer and Baddie will be visually tweaking Maggie to make her look pretty.

Bigfoot returns to Maggie May's on the 15th May!!!!! To wet your whistles before then we'll bust a gut at Subcity's Research Club April 17th with Matthew One More Tune and his stellar line-up of subcity whiz kids.

We journey back to Maggie's after an electric night last time around with Faux, Marmalade plus visuals from Reduxer and Baddie AS WELL AS Hans Bouffmhyre (Sleaze) IN ADDITION TO a very special guest TBC. It's gonna crunch the air out of your lungs.

If you didn't catch the 16th March show download now Marmalade hit the mix with a stenchman and it went ape shit.

maggie mays 6th march

Bigfoot hits Maggie Mays on 6th March 1130-3am for only £4!!!!!!!!!!!

Residents Marmalade Man and Faux Pas will be joined by Jean Ramesse (Sleaze Records) and Simon Stokes live! (Monu Digital). Visual action by Reduxer.

Jean's Glasgow based label Sleaze has been going from strength to strength with releases played by messers Hawtin, Pierce and Houle. The wonderful Simon Stokes brings his much talked about live show down to the basement to round off the night with what can only be described as absolutely banging techno. Excite much.

Bigfoot will also be decking out Maggie with some technical toys to make her look tasty.

Bigfoot's Tea Party // 16.02.09

Well that was the first show! Hope it went ok, felt a bit rusty but we'll sort it for next week.

In the future the tracks will have more of a structure, the shows focusing more on Glasgow artists and new releases from around the globe. Hopefully we'll have a news section and some more texts/emails to read out :)

Up coming guests include Telford (subculture) and Simon Stokes (monu digital).
