The Black Lodge is a fictional place in the 1980's hit television series 'Twin Peaks'. It is also a radio programme found on Subcity Radio.
Your host, Kevin James Roberto Mahon has a tentative grasp on what is listenable and importantly, thinks his own jokes are funny.
Featuring saucy banter, music hailing from obscure and not so obscure places, listeners can expect to hear anything from cult classics to gems from by gone eras!

Seriously I don't. This admission makes me feel like the girl with the wonky eye and the glass of cider and blackcurrant at the school dance.
Anyhow, the driving force behind the last episode of The Black Lodge for this year of 2010 is redemption. Red Dead Redemption. (But not actually). Coming of the heels of what some in the business referred to as "The worst thing ever" two weeks ago (ie The Black Lodge Adult Swim Mac Book Pro Freezes on Air Spectacular) this edition will be powered by old fashioned cds and elbow grease.
Expect one or two tracks that were only heard on a frozen skipping loop two weeks ago in addition to the usual offerings of Tom Waits, Devo and others!

Whimsy, delight and a third thing reign supreme as The Black Lodge celebrates it's favourite songwriters and...songs. This episode will feature a heavily biased, subjective and borderline ignorant stroll down memory lane as scribes such as Warren Zevon, Leonard Cohen and other(s) get praised in an episode that is already being described by some as "being available to listen to on www.subcity.org.
