We opened up the back garden, turned the leccie off and invited Wounded Knee and RM Hubbert to perform. The recording is thick with bird song, cars, planes, drain gurggles, its a collaboration that brings together Wounded Knee's postmodern Hebridean waulking song ethic and that signature subtle, intense guitar technique that Hubby fuses with flamenco and taiko.
Ahead of Subcity Soundclash #2 I'm joined by Shaun Fae Solar with the B-Side to Purple Brain Juice, aural/tonal assaults from Divorce's spilt tape with Ultimate Thrush, experimental vocal ensembles and satanic verses.
The new Burzum's LP, which after his time served for murder and church burning is finally opened, its named Belus after one of Odin's sons. Its grim, cold and primitive.
