Broadcasting now for longer than we care to admit, Build + Destroy is on air fortnightly on Thursday nights from 9pm - 11pm. We like to spend our time exploring all avenues of noise, so tune in to hear an exciting variety of music from the latest electronic beats to some classic tunes, all tied together with some friendly banter and updates on what is happening in Glasgow. From time to time we also like to entice other souls into the studio a treat, or source a lovely guest mix for your audio enjoyment.

n_ilk festival special
Build And Destroy // 05.04.12 // N_ilk Festival Special
n_ilk stands for ‘no ilk’, no formula or genre, - ‘anything goes’.
Last year Build + Destroy went up to Dundee to see what was happening at the N_ilk festival. We caught some great acts, such as Lukid, Point To C and Samoyed and it was all held in the Botanic Gardens. We wanted to find out more about this mini festival, so we have invited Paul Gault, who organised the festival, down to talk about the festival and also provide a mini mix. Expect to hear music from people that have played in the festival as well as Paul warming up before he DJs at The Ivy with Point To C on Friday the 6th of April.

This week on Build+Destroy we're taking a romp through the back catalogue of one of the UK's finest ever drum and bass labels. Don't expect any witty banter, nor any pirate radio style shout outs, for this one you're getting an uninterrupted 25 tracks in 2 hours from the darker side of Moving Shadow. We'll be starting with SHADOW1 way back in 1991 and taking you on a fine journey through the history of the squiggly man right up to one of the final releases in 2006. Superb.
