This week on Does Not Affect Play I'll be turning my attention to the subject of funk. If you don't know what funk is here's a definition from Peter Wermelinger's superb Funky and Groovy Music Records Lexicon. "Funk is that bumpy and groovy sound that hits your belly, sends out waves through the whole body, making you move your feet, nod your head and feel alright." I'll be spinning an hour of these sounds from 7-8pm this Thursday so put your radio and your dancing shoes on and get ready to do your thing.
If you missed last week's episode, "Tittyshakers and Other Unmentionables", then you can still find it on listen again complete with a full playlist. If it left you gagging for more then don't fret as there'll be a healthy dose of bust bouncers in the "Oddities For Oddballs" edition of Does Not Affect Play coming in a few weeks time.
