earthly matters x wavy graves present { soosh }

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ º~º º~º º~º º~º ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Earthly Matters and Wavy Graves will be co-hosting a special broadcast this week, and are delighted to present to you a live guest mix + interview from a highly talented, up and coming Glaswegian beat-making, dream-hop producer.
◊ Soosh ◊
.
After taking a year out from his part time occupation as a dentist, accompanied with a handful of his favorite musical instruments and equipment which includes the NI maschine sampler, a variety of hardware including synthesizers, and a tape recorder, Soroosh Khavari travelled to British Columbia, Canada to escape from the all too consuming distractions, and unabating nature of city life to discover his penchant, for creating heart felt, blissful, palpitating sultry beats and thus blossoming his fulfilling love for music, and capturing his desires and ideas into his first and so far finest pieces of production to date.
Signed to FUSELab / Jumble records, and distributed by Alpha Pup records respectively, Soosh’s eponymously-titled, debut, “Soosh - EP,” generates a soft, enchanted, treacle-like, percolation of carefully tendered rhythms being entwined with a radiantly lit step-by-step steadiness plume of cozily luscious rattling percussion. With a layer of faintly spoken whispers elegantly echoing for a long lost loved one, whilst skimming meditatively across gentle wintry river streams, beckoning for a voice in return to call back. Soosh’s compositions are ornately brought together, as they tangibly wash into our intimately cocooned deepest emotions and personal feelings. It pleasantly takes care of us, as it comfortingly encourages ourselves to let go of our thoughts and sail away without a worry in the world, hibernating peacefully through to spring.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ º~º º~º º~º º~º ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

With remixes for the likes of Shlohmo, Sina, and Lapalux under his belt, with the latter having provided a remix for, “Rainbow Hiccups,” on his debut EP. A slot alongside the likes of Lando Kal, Mau'Lin, Gang Colours, and Blondes at the highly esteemed, Streets Of Beige club nights in London back in June of 2011, and three EP's scheduled for release sometime in early 2012. The future is looking bright for Soosh as he is definitely destined to reach out to many folk from around the globe and celestial bodies from every planet across the cosmos's galaxies. It's that mesmerizing.
