Vinegar Basements and Butterfly Smiles
Echolalia // 1100-1200 22.05.11
basement reels and we are all listening!
Gianni is back from the basement and I went exploring the attic looking for rare and new material to bring to you here on echolalia.
Snogs, David Thrussell brings us a painfully aggressive poem 'The Chewing Gum of Hate' Sean M Welan ropes in a heart felt piece about love in 'Sweet Cowboy' and Archibald MacLeish poem as relevant today as when it was written The Two Priests.
Musically Lou Reed delivers a rare version of 'Caroline Says' which we absolutely love! Plus Crooner Dave Graney, Rock Prophet Nick Cave with the barely heard 'Dead the passage of Jesus' and the ever present Magnetic Fields.
So basically boxes and boxes of L.Ps we brought out of storage so come on in grab a coffee the kettles hot and there's wine in the fridge.
Grab a seat, listen up we're just blowin scenes and minds.
