We have another fantastic action packed two hours of soul searching poetry outsider folk and left field hip hop. In this episode we play you a little more of the fantastic work from giant of the written word Langston Hughes.Two beautifully visual poems from the likes of Carl Sandburg and Vijay Seshadri. Charles Simic well crafted poem on the nature of having two sets of parents and James Tates haunting tale of the lost Pilot.
We have some stunning sounds from the likes of Nico and The Psychedelic Furs. The actress Scarlett Johansson doing a great Tom Waits cover. The ghostly delta sounds of timber timbre, plus The Van Pelt, Two Gallants and many more.
We focus on reinvention in this episode. Looking at collaboration works and artist who are reinvigorating classics including a new take on Langston Hughes, the weary blues. Because I could not stop for Death by perennia, Symphony of Science - The Poetry of Reality and DJ Krust working with Saul Williams classic poem Coded Language.
If that's not enough we have we've invited outsider musicians Wild man Fisher, Richard Swift and Tin Man to join Hip Hop artists MF DOOM and MC Paul Barman here in hotel echolalia.
