Freshers' Address 2007
featured episode

The Freshers' Address is supposed to be a formal introduction to the University for the new students. No one told the union helpers it seems, the event is essentially a series of speeches from people who are only interested in promoting their organisation whilst either getting a cheer or a rise out of the opposition groups.

Shaun fae Solar and Monolith fae Solar show complete respect for all speakers in this considered and insightful commentary. Hear their thoughts on religion, student affairs and the various media groups affiliated with the university. Mock the freshers' helpers along with them too.

Listen back to hear about 2 words of each speech as two idiots waffle on over the top...

irrelevant speeches and irreverent comentary

The Freshers' Address is supposed to be a formal introduction to the University for the new students. No one told the union helpers it seems, the event is essentially a series of speeches from people who are only interested in promoting their organisation whilst either getting a cheer or a rise out of the opposition groups.

To match this formal tone, Subcity sent it's most respected voices Shaun fae Solar, The Monolith fae Solar and Jannik Giesekam. They planned to bring some decorum to the proceedings but seeing as they got there late and missed the start, they thought they may as well join in.
