With a flourishing discography and carreer working closely with such artists and groups as De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Janet Jackson, Heavy D, Q-tip, Guilty Simpson, Madlib, Talib Kweli, Doom, Proof and many many more, Dilla is widely considered to be one of the most influential artists in hip hop history.
This week over two hours I will be playing through some of my favourite Jay Dee tracks from his early productions with 5 Elementz, Slum Village and The Pharcyde to his posthumous albums and recently re-released classics.
