checking in, god, ireland and dramatic musicians

This week we went down to the Arches to record the Arches Live Check-In, a discussion about the future of Arts Funding led by Lucy Gaizely. If you'd like to chip in your two cents to the discussion, Lucy can be contacted at lucy[at]thearches[dot]co[dot]uk and the Save The Arts campaign is here. In the second half of the show, Michael and Rob chat to local singer-songwriter Matt Regan about Arches Live, Music, and Ireland, among other things.

In addition to several excellent tunes from the norn iron song monkey himself, we have music from welsh nutjob Euros Childs and poetry from the also very Irish Paul Durcan, just to hammer the Irish thing home.

Don't forget that next monday we'll be bringing the performance love to the stage of the 13th Note Cafe once again, with music from resident musician The Paraffins and performances from many others besides at Inital Itch. Be there if you love this kind of thing.

Next week on the radio show we'll be hitting up the Arches once more for some exclusive coverage of Hole In My Pocket's sunday sermons. Until then, much love.
