This week on Initial Itch, Rob and Steve are joined by performance artist Keiran Hurley, who chats about his show at Arches Live 2009, Hitch, and his forthcoming collaboration with the NTS on Allotment. We have music from local wonderful acts Over The Wall, Iona Bain and Washington Irving, whose recent live set for Subcity Sessions can be found here.
Our weekly portion of classic poetry comes from Lord Buckley, and, in homage to the biopic Bright Star, just released in cinemas, Rob indulges his obsession with Keats by reading the titular poem. We round things off with a short story by Miranda July, read beautifully by Ruth Cockshott.
As always, you can get your writing, rants, plays, poems and songs on the show by simply emailing them to initialitch@flatratestate.com
