t.s. eliot wrote a good poem but it's quite long
Today, in something of a digression, we have T.S. Eliot reading all of his epic modernist poem cycle The Waste Land, with some excellent music thrown in for good measure. We're not saying the legendary Mr Eliot needs any embellishment, you understand, just that perhaps there are people better at guitars and sythesisers than him. Do enjoy this indulgent hour of poetic goodness.
As a small prelude, there's also a little bit from local poet Kirsty Logan, reading her poem Said the Sea-Witch. Remember, don't hesitate to get in touch if you want to contribute to anything flatrate does. initialitch@flatratestate.com is the address you'll be wanting to send all you poems, songs and stories to.
We'll be back next week, same art-time, same art-channel, for some live broadcasting from a prison. We will also play some Johnny Cash. You can be sure of that.
