horrorcore? not quite, beneath the murk and tape hiss there's a groove, distant remnants of funk and soul + the early seeds of the crunk movement (see episode: http://www.subcity.org/shows/itsatrap/31422/)

post show note: the cassette motif worked out quite well: lousy sound quality and abrupt endings...authenticity!
