journeys - fitba' ticket give away
Journeys will be offering up 2 tickets for the Aberdeen vs Motherwell game on Saturday 29th November 2008 on this week's show. Seats are in the Richard Donald stand (Home Support), RD Front, Row E and worth a staggering £42!!!
If you want them, LISTEN TO THE SHOW and I'll tell you how you can get 'em. If I get more than 1 entry I'll do some sorta draw. The entries will continue to be collected until Thursday of next week (20/11/08), to give 'Listen Again' listeners a chance to enter, and I'll announce the winner HERE.Obviously, you should only enter if you can make it to Aberdeen that day.
Good luck!
Cheers,
Stu

Hey folks,
So, there I was trying to decide what to do this week's show on, and then that Obama bloke went and got himself elected...
This week's show is a collection of songs about political and social empowerment; from artists such as James Brown, Isley Brothers, John Lennon, Public Enemy, Lee Dorsey and others.
Ultimately Barack Obama's presidency may not turn out to be all that different from any other American regime, but surely we're allowed to hope, 'pray' and day-dream until it all goes wrong!?!?
The Weird But Wonderful vote is between a couple of versions of a Temptations' classic:
1. The Heptones - Message From A Black Man

2. The Whatnauts - Message From A Black Man
