modern dance - sun 30th nov 2008 - 2-3 pm

Hey there folks,

This week's show is about as up-to-date as I am ever likely to get; featuring, as it does, my own personal favourites from the dance and electronica worlds - from 2000 to date.

Expect to hear from The Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, LCD Soundsystem, Mr Scruff, Luke Vibert and Daft Punk, amongst others.

The Weird But Wonderful vote is a battle between a couple of Glasgow-based, unsigned 'bedroom' producers:

1. Harry Goggolini - Fined http://www.myspace.com/travelsofharrygoggolini (Click on song title)

Two 303s, a drum machine and a whole load of electronic action recorded live from the spare room. Nice.

2. DJ Freakout - Electric Penetration For The Mind & Soul http://www.myspace.com/djfreakout (Click on song title)

Another home-produced gem, with some nice sampling and synths.

To decide which one plays the show out, get in touch during the live broadcast: studio@subcity.org or text 'subcity' then your message to 07766 40 41 42.
