The Art of the Remix

Mapping Terra Incognita // 0100-0200 19.11.09

what bad weather?

With winter slowly but surely tightening her grip on our fair city, rid yourself of its cold shackles and inject some up-tempo rhythms and sunny soul into your lives!

Starting with some African stalwarts such as Seun Kuti & Oumou Sagare, jumping over to Columbia for some Caribbean flavour, and travelling up the Atlantic to explore some New York gems.

Second half of the show concentrates on the art of the remix, the coveted intertextual adaptation of the music world. Featuring remixes by the likes of Henrik Schwarz, Martyn, 16-bit & Calibre, Graham sifts through and mixes together just some of his favourite remixes of the past year.
