Self-Employed Graduates Stuart and Jon are both Glasgow Uni graduates who have bucked the trend of finding employment with a company, opting to start their own business instead. Stuart, a photographer, and Jon, a custom stereo appliance craftsman, talk about the benefits of a degree as well as the stresses and rewards of being self-employed.

A Hectic Halloween The setting: Sauchiehall Street. The scene: a costume shop packed to the gills. The time? The day before Halloween! Emotions range from confidence to desperation and bewilderment to bemusement as the store sells out each day by four and there is a one in one out policy at the door.
