One Louder, with its slightly demented but giggly hosts Alexia and Hege, is all about the greatest of infectious rockabilly, swampy garage rock, delirious psychedelia and messy crossovers as well as a few things we find entertaining, like our regular 'Scream of the Week'. Hailed as the jewel in the crown of Subcity, One Louder has been described as a show 'fit for mental hospitals'.

One Louder // 14.01.10 // Pre-hysteria!
Hello all,
and a very Happy New Year to you from the One Louder ladies!
We're very excited to tell you that we've got a new slot this year, Thursdays from 4-5pm, and that means we'll be warming up the studio for the beast that is Pete Howard's Rock N Roll Meltdown, woo! That being said, after six months of being sandwiched in between the excellent people of The Saturday Shakedown and She Said we will be missing Saturdays very much, boo!
Our new year's resolution is to bring you a higher quality show, with better music (if that's even possible), better chat, crazy themed shows and some fun fun fun features.
Our first show of Twenty-Ten will air this coming Thursday at 4pm!

This week One Louder gets a special visit from Mikel Detector of Glasgow punk darlings The Lie Detectors, and in order to fight the melancholy of the rainy season (does it ever stop?) we will attempt to bring some sunshine into your lives by playing some classic Beach Boys tunes and some great surf music. So pull those blinds down and pretend you're in sunny California yay!
