Well I needed a cheesy-old-vinyl fix so got myself to Oxfam early this morning. What did I find? Well, cheesy 90s house, r&b, hip-hop and some scratchy funk/soul which i'll leave til another time. Some admitted shockers in this set but the rule was Oxfam Music only. No bad for an hour / £17 investment. And beware! Some of these will return in clubs near you soon(ish).

Support your local 2nd hand charity shop, not just because it'll make you feel morally mighty (fuck dat) but because, if you look hard enough, THERE'S GOLD IN THEM THAR CRATES.

4. the naked stranger turned out to be one of the dj's! (shocker) and in order to break the really awkward silence when you both awoke, he assured you that May's Itch! was gonna be a belter. (it's true, he wasn't joking)

matthew's bday = this saturday 9 jan at art school

One More Tune is in its teens (as far as live episodes go) but the clubnight that preceded the show is almost two and a half years old already (fuck me). Matthew is celebrating his twenty third birthday at Saturday 9th Jan's OMT and all at Subcity are welcome. Bring a pal and come for a dance. Shaun fae Solar is the special guest deejay, he'll be causing it so get down early and get hydrated.

If you can't make this, get down to Nicenlseazy basement on Thursday 7th for some shape cutting. Free for all who say they're here for the birthday party and you can't be fairer than that!
