Stuff That's Not Normally Our Cup Of Tea

Pop Goes The Revolution // 1200-1300 05.02.09

stuff that's not normally our cup of tea

Expect a genuinely different show this week...

For once we're going to strip away and take Pop Goes The Revolution into genres it's never really previously looked at. We'll be playing all the tunes we love that don't normally come under the thin Pop Goes The Revolution umbrella and sheltering them for an hour of airplay this Thursday at midday.

Expect a fair amount of folk, a touch of modern funk, some gypsy punk, something deangerously close to hip-hop, some funk rock, and possibly even some ambience music... we're contemplating it as we speak.

Tune in tomorrow for a fairly ecclectic Pop Goes The Revolution, while we get all our other musical loves out of our system before launching ourselves next week into another cliff list, those long wished for movie reviews and an exciting preview of PGTR's fm plans.

However this week, sit back and enjoy the stuff we love that's not normally our cup of tea.

Tune in at midday...
