Scene But Not Heard

Pop Goes The Revolution // 1700-1900 18.09.09

scene and not heard

Pop Goes The Revolution finally returns to the airwaves on 106.6fm and www.subcity.org.

It has been a long and tremendous journey over the last few months, but at last we return.

The bad news is that Nikki will be unable to make the first half of the show. The plus side is that Hannah from Electric Lemonade will be returning to PGTR for Fizzy Pop Goes The Revolution II. Without the help of Nikki you can expect George's cynicism to fully let rip for the first hour until Nikki joins half way through to bring a slightly more joyous edge to the show and force the show to take a more optimistic turn - as we launch a new wave of excellent pop culture highlights to bring to the air.

Expect excellent new tunes from The Skinny Villains, The King Hats, as well as the return of Nikki's News, and the answer to all the important questions in life: why did o2 take over the ABC, what on Earth do Firewater think they're doing, is the September Issue worth watching, and should Nikki have brought that Lumberjack shirt?
