Sometimes it's worth remembering there are a tonne of other people on the internet who talk about unsigned and independent new music. Some of these people release songs in small groups for you to download - we call these people podcasters - whilst others choose to write about music on a 'webpage' - we call these people bloggers.

Some of these people are actually quite good. And more often than not The PGTR Team can be found reading them, pinching bands, and pretending we found them first. So in a special one off we thought we'd hand the entire PGTR playlist over to some other people (I know what you're thinking, that's never happened before - that's right, we trust these people that much.)

We've invited 5 of the best bloggers out there to select four tunes each to try and win you over. The Pop Cop Peenko Aye Tunes Song By Toad and Halina from Glasgow Podcart (a blog that talks) will all be selecting tunes and explaining why they chose them, and why their tunes are the best.

The only question remains: Who 'da best?
