New Technologies: Vinyl

Pop Goes The Revolution // 1700-1900 09.10.09

casiokids competition

Pop Goes The Revolution was officially relaunched on Wednesday night (only three weeks after we came back to air) and now we're ready to really raise the roof.

This week we're branching out into new technologies, as George attempts to play something off vinyl. We have no idea how this will go. As of yet he can't work out how to connect it up to a USB port, but we're hopeful we'll get there.

However, for those of you wondering why such a risk would be taken - it is all in an attempt to offer a delicious prize to a lucky listener more advanced in the ways of the world than ourselves.

That lovely man, Josh, from Subcity Spin has given us a lovely 7 inch vinyl copy of a brand new release by Norwegian electro kings Casiokids. Tune into the show live or on listen again to find out how you could win a copy of the new single Finn Bikkjen as well as getting to hear the single and another exclusive track by Casiokids.

We've been relaunched - we're really here now - so be prepared.
