In yet another first for The Red Room, we were joined live in studio by local musician and bearded man Lewis Cook of experimental Glasgow groups Yahweh and Frams Torners, who provided not only a generous collection of exciting and unusual music, but also a wealth of interesting and sometimes amusing banter.
Topics discussed included the passive-aggresive "accidental" destruction of Jenny's laptop; polite, mysterious and potentially homeless/murderous gentlemen visiting the USA; our favourite new iPhone apps (including audio demos of some of the more musical ones), as well as a rundown of our most anticipated films at this year's Glasgow Film Festival; and brief reviews of films by Jean Renoir (Boudu Saved From Drowning), Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan), and Pascal Laugier (Martyrs). Also contained somewhere within these two hours is Thom's very first big up.
Enjoy.
