C'est Le Plus Beau

c'est le plus beau

For this week's episode of The Red Room, we decided that, after more than a month's worth of special guests, we should go back to the basics; good old raw, unfiltered, Red Room Radio.

We discussed, as usual, movies, including the works of Jean-Luc Godard (Alphaville), Fritz Lang (M), Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Audition), Chan-Wook Park (Oldboy) and more, as well as launching an attack on the abomination that is 3-D movies.

We also discussed/reviewed the recent and utterly tremendous Mondo Morricone night at the Arches, The Red Room's own A Night of Experimental Film at 13th Note, as well as a gig by theapplesofenergy at Mono Café Bar. We also veered off topic several times, discussing things such as our first forays into the world of smartphones, hanging out with Yoshimi P-We for a day (we wish), and the decline of society due to its growing obsession with technology and the internet. The very internet you are reading this on now.

Enjoy!
