Many meals ago an ancient prophesy on the back of a Shreddies box foretold the coming of a man whose hunger could never be locked up. A man whose appetite for food was matched only by his appetite for victory. A man who gross consumption would attain legendary status across the globe. A man they would call 'The Stick'.

Over the past three weeks 'The Stick' has watched on as six young compeatitors have steaked a clam at his apple crown. Now it is time for his return from retirement in Wednesday night's munch-anticipated pay-per-spew Eat To The Beat - The Last Supper. The Grammed Final will see a fatal four-way between Zoe 'Killergrams', Thin Joe Evans, Shaun 'Sweet Tooth' Murphy, and John 'The Stick' Burns all eating a mystery food over 45 gruelling mineats. The winner will be crowned the 2009 Eat To The Beat King-Size Champion.

If you want to eat along at home you'll need to live near a supermarket or 24 hour shop. We'll be putting up a clue as to nature of the mystery food about an hour before the show on www.subcity.org/shows/rockislandline As soon as that clue goes up I'd recommend dashing down to the shops and stocking up on as much as you think you can eat.
