Yeah, i'm sure that question has been troubling you deeply the last few weeks - i know i've had a fair amount of sleepless nights over it too. Well, the truth is that actually there is some massive rock n' roll news approaching that i am well caught up in - more to follow in the coming weeks.

Dear Santa,
I hope the preperations for the big day are going cool and that.
This year i would very much like to receive one last episode of ROCK N ROLL MELTDOWN for 2008, cos it won't be on Subcity again until like January or something. Perhaps this Thursday (18th December) from 5pm until 7pm would be a good time for a broadcast?
Ideally, we're looking at some properly rock n'roll sort of tunes here; perhaps a bit of garage? Some heavy psych & quality punk for sure and maybe a bit of sleaze, glam, metal or surf music - if you think your sack can handle the extra load?
Throw in a few features and stuff and it could be almost like a Christmas party situation, although i know i'd probably be violently and uncontrollably sick all over myself at the very thought of ever falling victim to any form of seasonal commercial pressures.
Thanks dude - there's mince pies in the cupboard, take only ONE.

Why oh why oh why is ROCK N ROLL MELTDOWN still on Subcity Radio, Thursdays 17.00-19.00?
All that rock n' roll, heavy psychedelia, garage, punk, sleaze, glam, metal and death - it's not in keeping with regular teatime based radio.
Sometimes listeners email the show (studio@subcity.org) with overly-loud rock n' roll requests or obscene stories and sometimes they even get played or read out!
I am told young folks also sometimes text the word "subcity" + a message to 07766 40 41 42 to communicate their filth to the show - i find all this absolutely shocking quite frankly.

YO! The popular rock n' roll based radio show, ROCK N ROLL MELTDOWN will sadly be absent from the airwaves this Thursday (23rd October) while we get some much needed medical assistance. Flowers, chocolates, grapes and crack will all be gratefully received within visiting hours.

It's true: ROCK N ROLL MELTDOWN has abandoned Sunday as a day for rocking and instead will be returning to Subcity Radio this THURSDAY (yeah, i said THURSDAY) 18TH SEPTEMBER at 17:00 until 19:00.
But just cos the time has changed, doesn't mean the exceptional quality of ROCK N ROLL, PUNK, GARAGE, PSYCHEDELIA, GLAM, SLEAZE, TRASH, METAL (and whatever else i fancy playing) will have. Nor will the informative and entertaining chat, and there's always the potential of some guests arriving at this new awkward time too.
Also involved will be the classic features: 'Cobwebs & Strange', 'Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em' and maybe even a new mysterious feature if i can finish building the apparatus in time. Maybe next week then....
