Drag City Handbag

Start Making Sense // 0100-0200 30.04.10

this week (without andrew neil)

This week the sensemakers sit around and discuss Gordon Brown's hilarious gaffe, analyzing every fascinating little facet of the momentous day that shook the world. A well rounded debate we'll see what someone like Jeremy Paxman thinks, assess the impact with pie charts and seek opinions from bigoted people coming out of ladbrokes. The final election debate also happens tonight so i guess we can talk about how impressive Nick Clegg was, so handsome and vivacious, so different. Maybe a little square though, like a head teacher, or a friend's boring dad. Cameron made me feel a bit ill. Did you notice Brown's face looked saggy? David Dimbleby was good though. He should be Prime Minister, Paxman could be Chancellor and John Snow the Home Secretary. Not that prat who did the ITV debate though, not in my cabinet, he can stick to smoking horsehair.

Well that's tonights show. Also we'll be looking at the Chicago based indie label Drag City. Home to many great artists such as Joanna Newsom, Bill Callahan, Silver Jews and Alasdair Roberts we'll be playing a fine selection of the music along with some fact based word speaking stuff.

Join us tonight, 2am-3am!
