Back in October Subcity’s best urban DJs were asked to make some new mixes for MistaJam’s university tour on Radio 1xtra. Unfortunately, MistaJam was hospitalised with repetitive strain injury in his fader finger, so they never got played. We thought these were too good to sit on, so we’ve got in Subcity’s very own MistaSam and Shauny M to rep your end, drop the beats, and TALK IN MULTIPLE EXCLAMATION MARKS!!! Featuring mixes from and interviews with:

// Diggin the 12" Fusing Polish and French hip hop with the movements of the prolific SBTRKT and the dubstep icon Benga, this 15 minutes represents the duo’s take on urban music.

// DJ NoFace Taking some heavy bassline hitters, DJ NoFACE steps from some guaranteed dance floor fillers to one of his own productions.

// Metropolis Sound Including cutting edge D&B music whilst also digging deep in the basement for some jungle classics, this mix cuts the sublimely idiosyncratic production of Instra:mental into some classic drum n bass.

// Sub-Terrain Regularly playing at Subcity parties, Sub-terrain are dedicated to combining the world of bass music, garage, UK funky, grime, dubstep and hip-hop.

// Digital Dust With a mash up of some of the summer's best UK funky and some classic grime cuts, Digital Dust finish this mix with a bassline drop off.

// Tarantism Tarantism is known for bringing the party vibe, and this eclectic mix is no exception.
