hip vs hop
All good things come to an end...
As summer comes, slowly but surely, to Glasgow... this awesome season of Subcity Radio must draw to a close. Unfortunately, this means that Tarantism Radio must bow out as well, for the time being.
Not wanting to go out with a blast, Tarantism have organised a Three Hour Long Hip-Hop Battle for your listening pleasure. We have in the studio with us two teams of Hip-Hop enthusiasts who are going head to head to try and impress the Tarantism hosts, as well as two other very special judges, Ross Dinnett and Rebenga Dunn.
The show is broken into three main rounds, further divided into sub-categories, meaning each team has to choose a song which they think best meets the criteria for each round.
So... in the "Skengers" corner, we have Natalie Miller, Daniel Sneddon and James 'The Wank' Whelan, bringing us tracks from Killa P, Biggie Smalls and more Killa P?
And at the "Ral-stoners" end, Tarantism plays host to Jonny Burke, Dominic Maxwell-Lewis and Jamie 'DJ Chromehands' Dunn who will play anything from Madlib to Dimlite.
Listen to the marvels these guys bring to the Subcity Studio, and feel free to bring your own input to The Tarantism Facebook.
