Tarantism // 0100-0200 27.05.10

chungo-bungo

Once again, Nathan has been diagnosed with a serious case of 'mangina', resulting in his much deserved absence for recuperation. So, instead of Marco going solo in the studio, this week Tarantism invites Chungo & Bungo, a.k.a. Iain 'Waterleg' MacKinnon and James 'The Wank' Whelan.

Tonight we will play for you the best of reggae, ska, and dancehall with some classic tracks and a few rarities. Expect soothing basslines and harmonic vocals that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face, as well as a surprise window-entranced visit to the studio from DJ Gnarlyface, a.k.a. Casio Canteen.

If you like what you hear you can catch Iain and James at the launch of their brand new reggae night, Chungo-Bungo, next Wednesday at The Courtyard. Things kick off at 8p.m. and will have you skanking until late.

Sheeeeeeit.
