Tonight Tarantism explore a world of music that utilises the power harnessed by the very ordinary medium of spoken word, from the voices of Iggy Pop to Black Francis.
The songs chosen for this show will hopefully help illustrate that some of the most emotive and endearing atmospheres can be created by pieces of music which instead of using singing put to use the most elementary form of human musical contribution - the basic tones of the speaking voice.
