Courtesy of Universal records and my own collecting enthusiasm I've a bundle of Motown recordings that were not released as album tracks never mind singles. And the thing is they're superior to a load of show tunes, pop covers and other pieces of junk that filled out your typical sixties Motown album. I'll be exploring the sides that Motown quality control did not think were good enough and some of the in house politics that affected whose productions were released.
