The Funky Cuts // 1300-1400 19.02.11

Most of the music featured in this episode was recorded at the Soul Cellar which is in the basement of The Liquid Ship in Great Western Road and meets on the first Saturday of the month. It's run by Stephen Scanlon and Trevor Bond who play quite a bit of up tempo soul and funk which distinguishes them from other soul clubs in Glasgow. I will be playing selections from their sets on Saturday March 19th on the Funky Cuts when i hope to have them in as guests. As a teaser for that show the last two tunes on this programme feature two of Stephen's soul selection.

The rest of the music in this show is taken from my first set.
