a return to friday street
I promised we would have another go at playing an hour of Non stop sixties grooves from Friday Street with Mikey Collins, Paul Molloy and myself selecting the tunes.
This is the stuff that was played between midnight and two am so it is get the dance floor busy with a bit of an up for it crowd. Watch out for the Motown requests and of course the Friday street perennial request "No drinks on the Dancefloor". Can you tell which record was bumped as someone did place their drink on the table beside the speakers.
As you will see between the three of us we played some classics, some obscure sounds and kept it mostly up tempo.Friday Street is on the last Friday of the month at Blackfriars in Bell Street.
