shure blown away

I arrived at Subcity with a carefully selected box of 12" singles. The studio was empty and I took my time in fitting my own Shure 44 E carts to the Technics , balanced them tested them sopped stylus with a spare and cued up George Duke's Party Down. I should have paid closer attention to the record as I noticed a pied of fluff sitting on the groove and heading closer to the stylus. I thought I could blow it out of the way. I did but I the cart flew back as well. Nice start.

Anyway it turned out to be a good omen for what I thought was a great show. Well the music was top class with Parliament, Cerrone and Chic on the play list. Listen Again and see if you agree.
