The Self Raising Flour Hour of Power will be schmaltzing it up on wednesday, returning to tell you about our dreams, backed by some popular post rock. And maybe some studio guests. Who knows. We'll also be playing some bands from the Winning Sperm Party Disco Dancing night (i.e. Plaaydoh and Dirty Summer) just in case the WSP boyos are too modest to do so!

We shall also be joined in the studio by the effervescent and aromatic The Ballad of Mable Wong who will be turning tables, discs and doing some live in house bantering with us until that all too short hour comes to a sharp close!

TSRFHOP returns with a head hung low tomorrow as we mourn our too-late mourning of something that has passed too soon.

It will be a very scratchy, itchy, illegal, Metallica-baiting, Bob Dylan-baiting, offensive and ear polluting event that hopes to teach someone, somewhere a lesson.

Alec Baldwin will not be involved.

After our first night last month (featuring Hyena, Dirty Summer and Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit) fame, we are having another one this month, to comply with the status of 'monthly club/gig night'.

This one should feature more non-stop, independent, compassionate, ritualistic, barnyard, off yer face on solvents beat recital come disco dance-a-rama sort of behaviour.

There will also be an assortment of free cakes some of which we bake ourselves, some of which we buy, others that simply appear as if by Kipling.
