Vile hides: Music and Performance wins

The Vile Arts Radio Hour // 1500-1700 08.04.11

the vile sulk

Despite his claims of being "on the run" from undisclosed injunctions, the rumours spreading around Subcity HQ are that Gareth K Vile has thrown a massive strop after he lost his copy of the new Orkestra Del Sol album. He is not currently in hiding, but sitting in his bedroom, lights off, listening to a Wavy Graves mix.

Fortunately, the Hour has its own consciousness, and in the host's absence, it has collected together some interviews, a bunch of exclusive tracks - the final nod to the beginnings of electronic music may hint at the sort of music artificial intelligences love. So: Nick takes command of the musical interviews, meeting with Fangs; Claire Cunningham talks dance and singing; Orkestra Del Sol back up the promises of a Balkanarama special and that interview with Boom Monk Bem finally hits the internet. More words on Lent Fest and a visit from Graeme from The EMMAs Awards.

Perhaps Vile should be encouraged to sulk more often...
