Vile gets his Worm Out

The Vile Arts Radio Hour // 1500-1700 01.04.11

electronic honking and walking

A bit of bitter banter with No Means Yes, a tip of the hat to Glasgow's first Electronic Music Awards, a shout out to Alex Smoke and a missed birthday greeting to Harry and Vile's sister: the opening ten minutes are jam packed with Vile disasters, that only recede as the parade of guests arrive.

Balkanarama is remembered and respected, Take A Worm for a Walk Week speak of their future ambitions as cover stars for adult magazines, a spot of Scottish Opera, words from the Arches and the CCA, and the usual eclectic musical selection (and rancour between the musical tastes of Vile and Parlane). However, the interview with Jeremy Millar is a great walk through of his exhibition, and Platform 18 offers a performance supergroup.
