Joshua Inwood is Christian Television (or CTV), compiler of mixes and tapes, composer of non-linear, adult contemporary jams - a selection of CTV's music is available via KBOO a community radio station based in Portland, Oregon. His Last.fm is more like a "you have never heard of this" generator than a "you might like this", throwing up classical compositions from the likes of Francis Poulenc and Igor Stravinsky, alongside Jan Terri and Sibylle Baier.
His blog the Pony Engine is a collection of some of the most ridiculous yet sincere trash pop, like the middle aged California artist Leonte who dresses in different cultural cliche outfits on each video or shoot, or George Smallwood's internet soul classics performed on different community TV networks. Amongst all these oddities is some lush seductive pop, precisely produced, pitch perfect and addictive - this episode features Joshua Inwood's selection of that kind of pop music.
