GUR NOSTALGIA: We had tea and wrote a new google signature on the 365th day after the first time, but it repeats itself relentlessly anyway - it was already happening and now we put a microphone between us. stretched it out a bit. didn't know what to do. failed and failed to perform. we fell into each other and into unseen listeners, into infinite analogy and bought the same promiscuous encounter with endless appropriation over and over again- reducible to the same pathetic process.

we brought ghana back on an aeroplane. nothing much happened and there is nothing that from this position and being us that we can say. so we remain silent -spitting out the same old shit as a refusal to embelish anything but let capitals own peculiar decor seep out of every pore.

ghanaian field recording special

What Was Music // 06.02.13 // GHANA USELESS RADIO DJ SPORT RETURN + OLL N JULIA

A special show featuring the return of DJ Sports with a whole bunch of recordings made in Ghana. Julia and Oll who also went to Ghana and did some of the recording came into the studio to help out. We also had Sophie and Lester who has come all the way from Cuba! MC Donalds has been in London and managed to get some texts on Ghana from various political/social archives including George Padmore Institute Archive-Act/iva?ting! Radical Bla!ck Struggle in the UK§EDUCATION STRUUGLE in WEST AFREEKA AND THE UK!! Some of the recordings we played will be complied on a tape that will be released on Akashic Records.
