30 km/s is a show about radical politics, from queer/trans liberation and the history, culture and art of liberation movements, to the day-to-day reality of life in Scotland and the world at large. Host Ari Silvera will approach these issues with a cynical eye, drawing attention to obscure stories as well as fresh analysis of the mainstream news media. The intent is to both inform and entertain, offering new perspectives to listeners while making them laugh at the sheer grimness of it all. Interspersed with this will be analysis of different parts of geek culture, which may include gushing and cursing, possibly in the same sentence.
