Global Hobo

Global Hobo is a lost and lonesome radio show - showcasing an eclectic blend of music from all over the world to enchant, delight and surprise the listener, with your hobo host - Jim McAteer.
Ignoring all percieved musical boundaries and genres, the show rambles carefree across the musical map and can feature anything and everything from rare 20s blues vinyl, though Zimbabwean soukos music to lonesome cowboy yodelling.
Regular features include - "The Other Side of Odd", in which we play weird, obscure and above all odd tunes, unearthed from the vaults of novelty and eccentric music, as well as weekly mini-features profiling artists and musical styles in Bite-size Biography.
Each week the listeners are musically nourished with the ultimate mix tape of world music, blues, folk, country, reggae and everything in between.
