Private Function

Private Function is a monthly two-hour radio show hosted by All Art, which aims to take you through the slower reaches of a wide variety of genres. Traversing classical, jazz, psychedelic rock and r&b, among others, each episode connects disparate musical moments to show that a reserved, slow and above all contemplative line runs through seemingly unrelated works. With a special interest in seventies folk, eighties post-punk and jazz, as well as nineties experimental, All Art pieces together each episode with words on the musicians, labels and scenes that put forth the music. Put simply: two disparate and downtempo hours, with the necessary background information.
